The Garnet Way Facilities...Past, Present & Future

The Garnet Way can already be seen in some of the recent projects the University of South Carolina has undertaken.  From new club seating and a first-class training facility at Williams-Brice, to the new baseball stadium and the incredible new Dodie Academic Enrichment Center, our fans can see The Garnet Way taking shape and making an impact on our campus. New projects are on the horizon that will excite and inspire our student-athletes, coaches, fans and recruits.

208/209 Champions Club

We began creating a new atmosphere in Williams-Brice stadium starting with the 200-level seating areas. This club seating will provide a championship level experience so many Carolina fans expect, deserve and invest in.



The New Baseball Stadium

The new baseball facility is part of the Athletics Master Plan for Facilities that was unveiled by Athletics Director Eric Hyman. The stadium is scheduled to be completed in time to open the 2009 season.








Williams-Brice Training Room

Open for the fall of 2008, the training physician exam rooms and offices, state-treatment areas, rehabilitation center and pools. It is everything a champion needs stay at the top of their game.








The "Dodie" Academic Center

The three-story, 35,000-square foot center will have a full-service cafeteria, nutritionist office, audio/visual
multi-purpose room, tutoring rooms, seminar rooms, math and English labs, special needs learning lab, study areas, computer labs, student-athlete lounge, academic support staff offices, full wireless capabilities the facility and an Academic Hall of Fame.


Re-Development of the Roost

“The Roost” will be the home where our champion athletes of the future practice and train. It will include an academic enrichment center, a coaches support building, an athletic center with weight room and sports medicine complex, an indoor/outdoor tennis complex, a softball stadium and a new outdoor track complex. The roost will also include renovated facilities such as the soccer stadium, softball stadium, indoor facility and natatorium.
