GIVING

The Gamecock Club began in 1942 and hasn’t stopped crowing since. Each year, nearly five hundred student-athletes from the University of South Carolina are provided resources through the generosity of the loyal fans and alumni that make up Gamecock Nation. Each and every single South Carolina fan supports us with their cheers on the field, but Gamecock Club members also support through giving.  The future of our Gamecock Nation and our athletics programs depends on its members. And if you are as Garnet as we are, we want your support. Without you there is no “Us”.  Your contribution will help provide our student-athletes with the resources they need to be successful on and off the field.

The Gamecock Club is recognized by State and Federal Government as an eleemosynary and tax exempt entity, making all individual contributions tax deductible.

The charter of the Gamecock Club is approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the University of South Carolina and the Athletic Director of the University of South Carolina, main campus. Its sole purpose is to provide financial support to student-athletes in 20 sports. This aid is in the form of recruitment, tuition fees and charges, meal cost, housing cost, medical cost, injury assistance and rehabilitation expense, as well as special education needs and tutorial sessions. Gamecock Club membership is open to any alumnus or friend of the University.
